DESCRIPTION

For the emotional climax of Amazon Prime's global series "56 Days," the production needed a raw, untouched coastline. We secured a secret, pristine beach location in Quintana Roo that perfectly matched the director's vision, providing an isolated and dramatic backdrop for this crucial scene.

However, filming in the Mexican Caribbean means dealing with unpredictable weather. Right in the middle of the shoot, we were hit by a massive, unexpected downpour with heavy winds. This is exactly where having an experienced local crew makes all the difference. Without missing a beat, our team immediately stepped in, using heavy-duty umbrellas and covers to secure the lighting and camera gear. We kept the set safe, adjusted the logistics on the fly, and actually embraced the overcast, moody weather to enhance the dramatic tone of the sequence.

The final result is a stunning sequence now streaming on Amazon Prime. For us, this project is a great example of what real production services look like on the ground: it’s not just about finding the perfect location, but having the infrastructure and the right crew to keep the cameras rolling safely when nature decides to flip the script.
